Passage Nord Ouest 2023

NWP West to East 2023 looking for experience crew members.
Kluane is an aluminum Romanée Pouvreau 33ft 1981, she was called Ratafia and did the passage in 2016 but not with us. We are a couple in our forties and sailed Kluane in BC / Alaska since 4 years.
This is a non paid position, we split all trip related expenses. (Estimated $25 CAD/ day for food, diesel, sat phone, weather routing, ...) You need to have your own extra budget / insurances for fly out, it could be really expensive. We are and will be in touch with the local first nations to ensure respectful practice while crossing their territory. Leaving BC early May and should arrive to Nfld in September. We are experience in remote area and living in the North. She is a counselor, I am a mechanic running ice coring drills. We are both outdoor enthusiasts (Mountaineering, pack rafting, backcountry ski and sail, 4 field seasons in Antarctica, ...) It is not a full comfort trip, you need to be easy with food, good health and have references. We will provide ours. We are fluent in English and you need to be. French is our first language.
